What did you do before doTERRA?
I Rocked motherhood with my precious little ones….before that Massage Therapist
How did you know doTERRA was right for you?
The first time I was able to give my baby relief simply be applying one drop of oil. That was empowering! I thought to myself “These oils are amazing! Why doesn’t every mother know about them???”….& then I tried to learn everything I could about them.
How did you know it was the right time to start your own business?
It was actually a combination of events. Part of it was my desire to share these amazing gifts of the earth with my friends the moment I saw their potential in my home. The other part of it was that I just needed an excuse to get out once a week & be with adults that talked about something other than poop or ABC’s. This was actually kind of difficult for me in the beginning because anytime I went to a training & listened to everyone in the room describe their life-changing “WHY”, I felt kind of shallow when it was my turn & my answer was …”Uh….ummm, I just needed a break from my kids…I mean ummm…. I want World Peace?” But I came to realize just how powerful that “WHY” is. I think there are many women that start to lose their identity (& maybe some sanity) when they stay home with their kids all day. This business allowed me an outlet that provided endless opportunities for personal growth to develop my talents & build a community to thrive in, which interestingly enough has helped me become a better wife & mother.
How has building a doTERRA business changed your life?
It has allowed us to switch our paradigm from having to fit our lives around John’s work schedule to being able to lives around our family & the things that mater most & then fit our work around that. It has also provided us a deeper level of meaning in life because not only are we able to contribute to blessing our family, but we are able to contribute to our community & communities around the globe in a way we would have never thought possible!

What did you do before doTERRA?
Prior to doTERRA I worked out in the field for an electrical company.
How did you know doTERRA was right for you?
I knew doTERRA was right for me as I suffered from some emotional discomfort. I was using the product that helped support me and after I had experienced the shift in myself and I knew so many other people needed what I had felt. I also had been watching Brianne and Nate and they were living out the life I had always dreamed of myself. Knowing my drive and determination, I knew that I could start my own doTERRA business and be successful too.
How did you know it was the right time to start your own business?
I needed some serious change in my life. I needed to find inner peace and happiness. Just thinking about what doTERRA could offer let me dream again and I felt like it was possible to actually live out the dreams I have had since I was a kid. At the time, my husband I were living paycheck to paycheck and barely making it ends meet, we were working 3 jobs each. Talk about burnout. We never saw each other and I desperate for more time with my husband and 3 boys. I wanted to show my children that you don’t have to live like that, and I knew doTERRA was my chance to make a change.
How has building a doTERRA business changed your life?
Building doTERRA has not only changed my life but has changed my families lives as well. First, let’s talk about how unhealthy we were. Today, my children will not even touch any kind of synthetic medication. We also eat better, our whole lifestyle has changed. I am excited to know that I have created a new story for my children so they will carry this on to their children. Financially it has been a game changer, we even have savings now! It seems unreal, but it is possible.

Roger: I used to charge 500/day for my business consulting services to clients such as law firms, Universities, Hospitals and Telecommunications companies. I now calculate that if I were to offer my services, I would need to charge 1250/day in order to make it worth my while to take my focus away from doTERRA for that day.

What did you do before doTERRA?
Emmanuelle was hired to open and manage one of London’s top (award-winning) day spas.
Roger was a business consultant contracting for Universities, Law firms, hospitals and British Telecom. Roger started his path with doTERRA as an employee (Europe Director of Business Development). Roger oversaw the growth of doTERRA in Europe from 40K monthly sales to over 1M in monthly sales in 2.5 yrs.
How did you know doTERRA was right for you?
Emmanuelle: I knew doTERRA was good for me when my mental and physical health improved and I started to see positive changes in other people around me. I became a contagious oil sharer 🙂
Roger: My whole life has lead me to doTERRA. I have years of experience with network marketing companies (always corporate based) and 30 years personal experience using essential oils. I love natural healthcare because it was NOT THE NORM in my family. I always preferred to find natural ways to take care of myself where possible. My experience with network marketing meant that I NEVER wanted to be a consultant in network marketing. But now, I have found a company where the culture goes beyond the business model. The culture is caring for and empowering people to be healthy and happy…and it also provides ways for those people to find financial freedom. This speaks volumes to me.
How did you know it was the right time to start your own business?
Emmanuelle: I took me a while to jump into the business because I had a lot fears about network marketing. It was also very new to me be my own boss, I always was an employee before so it was a lot of uncertainty for me.
Roger: It was hard for me to make the switch from employee to Wellness Advocate. I was hoping that we would already be Diamond when I made that switch so that there would be no financial risk. However, it became apparent that for our business to move forward at the pace we desired, Emmanuelle and I would be stronger together. So I took the risk, made the jump and I am very happy with that decision. Our life is forever changed.
How has building a doTERRA business changed your life?
Doterra changed our lives in so many ways, for one it helps bring a steady income which helped us pay our bills and then reimburse our debts. It helped us to regain our dignity and feel supported in life rather than having to put up with life. Doterra has helped us to live our dreams and move to a place simply because we wanted to live there. We are very happily residing in Spain since Oct 2016.
Roger: doTERRA has allowed us to start dreaming again–living a life based on our values and desires…not the fear of having to pay our bills. We are now able to choose to make an impact in people’s lives both through and beyond doTERRA. Life is about helping people to be free to live the life that they truly want.

What did you do before doTERRA?
A LOT of things that didn’t feed my Soul (mostly advertising and marketing/sales) and was working to launch my own Health Coach practice.

It is completely aligned with what my Soul was calling me to do: continue healing my own life through all things natural, while inspiring others to do the same by sharing my process and story.

Synchronicity . . . that’s all I can say. I met Brianne at THE perfect moment in my life; I was primed and ready to create the life I’d always thought was possible.
How has building a doTERRA business changed your life?
In literally every way possible. I get to create the life of my dreams – are you kidding me?! And while HELPING other people do the same? I seriously have to pinch myself sometimes.

I was looking for a Network Marketing Business in Natural Health at the time I found doTERRA. It was something I felt deep inside my heart and mind.
How has it changed my life?
I am a stronger person, more able to have Crucial Conversations, I am able to work with all personality types, I am more confident, I am seen as a leader ( and have developed more into one), I know more about Natural Health and Essential Oils, I have much more time freedom and more financial freedom. I have been able to financially help more people and have taken my kids and grandkids on several nice vacations, ex. Hawaii and Bahamas. My husband isn’t stressed about money! It has changed my life in so many ways!!!!
