Rise Up was created for Hovey Diamonds to support each other while growing their business and teams around the world.
Each Diamond host must share in the planning of the event, (the more Diamonds the better the event). Having 3+ diamonds support an event adds considerable value, variety, and interest. The more personalities, skills, strengths, and unique gifts offered, the bigger the results from attendees. It is best to pick 1 Diamond who delegates the list of tasks for the event.
Step-by-step guide to help you set up your own Rise Up event
Agenda, PowerPoints, Videos, and Recordings
You can host a 1 day or 2.5 day Rise Up Event. Weekends work best.
Hotels work best for this type of event, but other event types work as well. Since attendees are on their own for food/snacks, you will want to break for lunch and dinner. Your location should be close to food and possibly an airport.
Beth Hillman will register you through FormSite.com. The payments through will go directly to YOUR bank account. However, you will need to email us and ask us for updates.
You can set up your RISE UP registration by using EventBrite.com. This way you have access whenever you need. However, the payments are held by EventBrite.com until the event is over. If you choose this option, please send us the link to your event ASAP so we can put it on the Rise Up Website to promote it team-wide.
You are responsible for figuring out how much your Rise Up will be. The minimum cost for attendees is $45. Remember to take into account hotel event space fees, taxes, AV needs, treats, workbooks etc…
We suggest asking the local leaders how many attendees they each might have, multiply that number by $45 to estimate your budget. You may need to charge more than $45. We want it to be as affordable as possible for the attendees, but please do the math so you are sure to cover your costs.
Complete the registration form 4 weeks prior to the event. Fill out a separate form for EACH event you do.
Order your workbooks 3 weeks prior to your event
This is to ensure printing and on time delivery of workbooks.
Workbooks are $8 each plus shipping. You will receive an invoice after your event.
If you would like tattoos for your event, place your order with your workbooks (see above)
Rise Up Temporary Tattoos are $20 for 30. They make a super fun addition to your event!
Host a Diamond Leader planning call to go over the checklist and decide who does which part.
Choose one Diamond leader to go through the schedule and assign topics to leaders. It’s helpful if you send out the agenda to all the Diamond presenters and ask them which sections they feel most comfortable doing. Once the Diamonds have confirmed, have them download the PowerPoint and video training files to practice. Please follow the PowerPoint exactly (of course adding your own unique brilliance) and use the recorded training video as a guide.
Also note that we have made ONE PowerPoint document with all the presentation sections in the same file to make it easy to transition into the next section without any hassle. You will find this in the Rise Up Dropbox Folder named “1 Day Rise Up Master” or “2.5 Day Rise Up Master”. You will need to assign one of your leaders to go through the PowerPoint and change the name and pictures of each presenter on the title pages.
Once you have your schedule nailed down, plug in the names of each presenter on the Rise Up Agenda template (found in the Rise Up DropBox folder)
Break up the training every 2-3 hours with a dance party, massage train, hula hoop contest,
groups sharing knock-knock jokes, and stretching.
We’ve found the best way for attendees to get the very most out of Rise Up is to split them into groups at the end of the first night. The group idea allows the attendees to get out of their comfort zone even more, meet new friends, and grow their community. It makes for a fun team environment.
There will be 1 Diamond leader per group so divide the attendees based on how many Diamond leaders you have. Make signs with group numbers on them for each group to know where they will be sitting together each day. Assign an oil name to each group (i.e. Passion, Elevation, Hope, etc.) but keep it a secret until the next morning when you will have them act out their “oil” for the other groups.
